Production Solutions'  RED-E-SET Ultra HD

Production Solutions Inc., a leading engineering, design and manufacturing company, offer its line of RED-E-SET board supports, including the award-winning RED-E-SET Ultra HD.

The award-winning RED-E-SET Ultra HD eliminates expensive custom tooling plates, the need for new custom tooling plates for each board revision, defects due to inadequate board support, time-consuming changeovers and machine downtime.

The Ultra HD offers the support coverage of dedicated tooling but with the flexibility of universal tooling. Ultra HD modules are made to the user's board dimensions and come standard with 0.350" pin spacing. So instead of having to wait for custom-machined plates due to a new PCB revision, the RED-E-SET Ultra HD gets you running right away

The new format is ideal for those users that typically run similar board dimensions but change board layouts frequently, have panelized boards, or those that are highly populated.

The Ultra HD modules come in both strip format for those users that need to add or remove support depending on board width, and our new format which is board/application specific.

Multi-Components GmbH will also showcase Production Solutions Red-E-Set Autoset - Motorized model, the  Red-E-Set SZ - Center Support model, the Red-E-Set Inline - Standard model and the Red-E-Set VB - Vacuum Box Printer model.

The color-coded features of PB Swiss
Tools' Rainbow© Series set them apart from the rest

Count On Tools Inc., a leading provider of precision components and SMT spare parts, offer Rainbow© Hex Key Sets from PB Swiss Tools.

The color-coded features of PB Swiss Tools' Rainbow© Series set them apart from the rest by giving an indication of size to every tool. PB Swiss Tools' uses the latest high-tech processes to manufacture colored handles and blades to make work better, easier, and more efficient.

The Rainbow® series allows users to quickly find the right hex key, thanks to recognition of the sizes by color. The key sets feature precisely chamfered corners for easy insertion into screws. In addition, the RainBow® series provides absolute precision and the highest regularity with tolerances smaller than a human hair.

Rainbow® hex key sets are labeled with the serial number for additional security, and to enable tracing the production back to the raw material. The key sets are chrome-plated with a powder-coated color finish for protection against corrosion.

PB hex keys feature a perfect-shaped ball-point end, which allows any user to turn the screws with an angle of up to 30°. PB Swiss is the only manufacturer to offer such a large angle for ball-point hex keys, which allows them to be more versatile for the user and very unique.

With more than 130 years of experience, PB Swiss Tools is a global leader of hand tools manufactured for use in the industrial marketplace, even for the most hazardous jobs. PB Swiss Tools has spent over a century perfecting the ideal blend of quality spring steel alloys and precise heat treating processes to develop hand tools of unrivaled quality and performance.

Molex's Multi-Drop Sealed Connector and
Cable System provides greater flexibility when designing
internal and external data/signal and power applications

Molex Incorporated now offer its Multi-Drop Sealed Connector and Cable System, a sealed, modular, cable connector system for the transfer of both power and data/signal in a multi-drop configuration. Using cable-pierce technology to deliver a rugged, free-form, pluggable connector string, the Multi-Drop Sealed Connector and Cable System is fully sealed to IP66 and IP67 ratings, and can be customised to meet any requirements for internal and external data/signal and power applications, providing customers with greater flexibility when designing their applications.

"Molex's Multi-Drop Sealed Connector and Cable System's string layout, customised mating interface and modular design can be designed to meet customer-specific applications," said Desmond Ryan, product manager at Molex Incorporated. "The system is suitable for many lighting and power applications, security systems and sensors in environments such as office buildings, road infrastructure, car parks, public transport, city centres and other public places."

The system is comprised of multiple connector modules made up of three sections, including top and base housings which are terminated to a multi-core flat cable, and a custom pluggable connector with an interfacial seal. Retention studs on the top and base housings align the cable module during termination, provide constant compression of the connector on the cable and add strain-relief. Connections can be made on stranded cores of wire of 1.50mm (16 AWG) or greater.

The single termination process allows for quick and easy field termination and is suitable for applications up to approximately 3.0A. Having 50-cycle durability, the pluggable connector can be mated/unmated during installation and for re-use, repair or replacement. With weather-proof and UV-protected housings, gel matte and connector interfacial seals, the assembled system is fully sealed and suitable for use in all weather conditions.
